Kyle and Rob have this week been out PAT testing appliances in student HMO’s for a Lettings agent client. In total they have tested in over 60 properties this week.

With rented property the landlords need to make sure appliances provided with the property such as whitegoods are maintained to a safe standard to protect the users and the property - that’s where we come in.

We visit and test the equipment and provide the agent / landlord with a fully compliant Report and Certificate.

We can do property testing of all types of Lettings, as well as holiday homes.

This “system” was put together by a local electrician installing lights into a window display.

❌Terminal blocks without any protective cover
❌Unfused plugs known to not be up to British Standards attached to the fittings to power them.

Now we’re not sparkies but pretty sure this isn’t good practice. Came across this whilst doing the PAT testing.
