This was a satisfying one seeing the end result
The whole gable end had to come down to almost the bottom of the windows due to failed lintols and failed cavity ties

We cleaned off and managed to salvage every single brick (thank god, as they weren't a normal size and would have been a nightmare to match)

We then rebuilt, retroffitng cavity ties along the way, isntalling new lintols above the windows and then renewing the lead flashings beneath the copings

No job too big or small, we don't shy away from the more awkward structural jobs

This was one of our larger projects we finished last year

*Side & rear extension built from the ground up (groundwork & shell only)
*Internal knock through and structural steel install
*Paving and Channel drains installed
*Raised timber sleeper planters built
*Porch built ready for cladding
*Drive excavated, border laid and gravelled
*Shed base formed

So sorry again for my tardiness posting, just don't get a spare second in my day

Here's one from last week in Heswall

-Take down section of wall and rebuild
-Remove vegetation and repoint remainder of wall
-Rebuild pillar
-Construct bespoke hit and miss fence

All external works undertaken, brickwork and stonework specialists but we also do fencing, paving and structural works

Lintol replacement & helical stitch bar installation was the order of the day on this one

After knocking off the coating off the existing lintol, I was very surprised to find that the reason for the lintol failure was that some absolute lunatic had fitted it on its back (image 2 & 3)

Obviously they aren't designed to be set in that manner which caused it to sag, causing structural cracking to the brickwork both internally and externally

And that's why you get someone who knows what they're doing, like me 👍

New catnic fitted, mortar raked out and helical stitch bars resined in place, lots of slate packing and pointing, and now it's as good as new and done correctly (image 1)

Another job we squeezed in this week during the downtime on our main job

We had to reroute this fence to incorporate a new climbing frame in a school

We reused all of the posts and panels we took out, plus a few that they had lying around. Although I love the zero waste ethos, making battered old fencing look new and neat isn't ideal 😑😑😑

However, we nailed it and it looks great 👌

Just loaded the van up, walk round the back of it and hey, flat as a pancake 🥞 🥞 🥞

Luckily I could make it to Tyres4UWirral and get them to save me yet again, wouldn't go anywhere else for tyres or puncture repairs

My view today, digging a trench for a cable

Squeezed this job in whilst we wait for another delivery of fencing to our current job

It's a bit cooler today, thankfully, as it was like a greenhouse in this machine yesterday
