I think these tiles give the kitchen a high-end, contemporary feel without being over-designed.

FLASHBACK 🔙

I love looking back through some of my older projects, and this one is a real favourite.

Around 5–6 years ago, I installed this beautiful tumbled-edge travertine floor in an Opus pattern, starting at the front door and flowing through the kitchen-diner, utility room and downstairs WC.

The travertine was sealed with LTP Mattstone before grouting, finished with Jasmine grout, then sealed again with LTP Mattstone once the grout had cured.

Natural stone has a character and warmth that’s hard to replicate — and it’s great to look back at a project like this and see how well it has stood the test of time. 👌🏻

Trim - Practical, durable, cost-effective and available in a range of finishes.

Mitre & resin: More labour intensive, creating a seamless, bespoke and premium finish.

Both can look fantastic when they’re installed properly. The choice is yours — the craftsmanship should always be the same. 👌🏻

Flowing floor from hallway through to the kitchen diner area. 600 × 600mm wood effect parquet-style porcelain tiles.

Installed using UltraTile SPES adhesive and finished with a limestone grout and matching silicone.
