ACCOYA WOOD
Is it really that good and worth the extra expense over hardwoods and treated softwoods?
I did a garden project around 5 years ago, using tanalised treated, softwood sleepers. To pack the sleepers level I used 25mm Accoya pieces screwed to the underside. The only wood that was in total contact with the ground was the Accoya.
I’ve now had to replace all the treated and stained sleepers as they were rotten.
The photos show the Accoya pieces totally intact, without any signs of decay.
Yes it really is that good!
As a manufacturer of bespoke joinery products, this is why we try to convince our customers to have Accoya over any other product on the market.
