Another makeover completed in Stanley.

Uneven path lifted off sand and levelled up then re-laid on full bed of concrete. Old worn out lawn shuttered off and raised,new fresh topsoil and turf over. Finished off with a charcoal paver edging & pointed

Job finished just in time before a week off on holiday. This was carried out on the street I live on so with no travel time involved we were able to really get stuck in even through the 32 degree heat.
Old decking and fish pond to rip out, then lifting and removing all the dodgy paving. New subframe and stilts built for new decking to go over. Full membrane stapled over the joists then new decking over. Three coats of Ronseal Ultra clear oil applied for protection. No cut ends on show as always with all decking laid in full lengths within a mitred 'picture frame'.
Sub base compacted down before type1 crusher applied then again further compacted.
W**d membrane laid over then Granite dust levelled out all over. This was then dampened down and fully compacted producing a rock hard base.
The finishing touch was Luxury Cuban 38mm artificial grass fitted in place with nails and glue. Eight bags of kiln sand brushed in to enhance the grass. Wall cut away to widen the access step leading upto it.

Little sleeper job in Altofts. Trench dug and all sleepers laid on a full bed of mortar with retaining rods in place. Angles mitred to suit.
Membrane and quartz gravel over.
