Roof on at the 2 storey shell were building in mirfield had a bit of a nightmare with the trusses we had delivered being a bit mis shaped/measured wrong by the manufacturer and also being sent short quantities to build the hips. Scaffold coming down next week ready to get the garage floor, door and canopies done 👌

Not posted anything for a while due to being that busy. Small structural steel job completed this week for a customer in rastrick ready for works to fit their new kitchen. One day turnaround on this one. Photos to come of 2 extensions weve been on with since we came back after xmas break when I find the time to take some 😂 thanks for looking and feel free to get in touch for any building or roofing work. Another small job completed this week for a customer in dewsbury.
Strip off and re roof 1 storey pitched roof. ✔️
Strip off and re roof bitumen felt outhouse. ✔️
New fence built with gate. ✔️
Didn't manage to get the before pictures as we had it stripped down and ready for renewing before I had chance to get my phone out. 😂
Taking bookings for June onwards now for bigger jobs but weve always got time to squeeze in any smaller ones 👌

And that's a wrap at the cleckheaton job!!! 5 days on this one, full strip off of fire damaged roof. Top course re walled with new lintels over windows. New attic trusses fitted. And full new roof covering with fascia, soffit and gutters. Onto the next one 💪 massive thanks to Danny Saville and tom flynn for jumping on with us this past 5 or 6 weeks to get these roofs done.

Small job running along side the roofing job at cleckheaton this week. A leaking gutter had caused a massive damp patch inside this church at horbury. Effected area hacked off. Lime plaster applied as this is a solid wall and needs to be able to breath also a listed building. Gutter fixed so it doesn't happen again. Thanks for looking 👍

Phase 1 complete at barnsley 👌 onto another full roof and structure next week. Mounting up to 5 complete roofs in a month all finished to a high standard and up to current regs. P.s would have washed the dust off but theres no water at this property yet. Tomorrow's rain should help it out 😂👍

Wetherby job completed this week!!! Love a reclaimed roof, these slates were layed on a roof for the first time 180 years ago. Still got a lot of life left in them aswell and look great even on a more modern building. All aspects of roofing work taken on from repairs to full re roofs, pitched or flat. Get in touch 👍 🏠

Roof well underway at wetherby, repair work to front elevation and remove and replace 2 broken trusses from a tree falling onto it. 2 days to get to this stage and should be wrapped up and ready for safe use again by the middle of next week. Thanks for looking and appreciate any shares 👍👍👍

Trusses are on at barnsley 💪 was a mad rush as delivery turned up late, crane managed to get them lifted up for 2pm then we scrambled for an hour and a half getting them positioned and braced up ready for felt and laths. 👍👍👍

Another review from a customer a couple of weeks ago. I'd gone originally to look at some alterations they wanted to make to an understairs cupboard and noticed a wall had been taken down and steel beam fitted by someone recently. Upon seeing the way the job had been done I advised the customer to speak to our structural engineer. The beam was too short and didn't even catch the end floor joists from the floor above, no padstones had been used and we had to temporarily prop the doorway and new beam as upstairs the walls were showing cracks and lintel over the door had started to fail. Took some doing but we managed to get it all taken out and put back correctly to an engineers design. We always work to current regs and make sure everything is above board and satisfactory before we leave. I even went back at 7.30pm one evening to vac up as the customer didn't want there vac to break with the remaining dust. 👍👍👍
