We’re pleased to be supporting the delivery of new campus expansion in Darlington.

The development will help bring more of Cummins’ logistics operations on-site, improving efficiency while supporting the company’s future growth in the North East.

The scheme is also a great example of our integrated service offering, bringing together the skills of as CDM consultants, alongside our architectural services to support the development of a facility that aligns with Cummins’ operational requirements while helping deliver a solution fit for the future.

On Saturday 20th June, colleagues from our Wakefield office joined St Johns Health & Fitness for their incredible "Race to the Sun" challenge, helping to raise an amazing £12,000 (and counting!) for Leeds General Infirmary and St James’s Kidney Wards.

A huge well done to Jon, Ketia, Mark, Sarah, Ryan and Thom, who collectively covered more than 190km between sunrise and sunset - roughly the same straight-line distance between our Wakefield and Milton Keynes offices.

Special praise goes to Thom Morgan who ran over 80k and Ryan Murray who managed an amazing 60k before having to retire due to injury.

A huge congratulations to Thom Morgan on successfully passing his Part 3 examinations, marking the completion of the final stage of his architectural apprenticeship.

This outstanding achievement reflects years of hard work, dedication and continuous professional development. We’re delighted to see Thom reach this important milestone and look forward to seeing him thrive in his role as he prepares to register as a qualified architect with The Harris Partnership.

This is a remarkable achievement and a well-deserved recognition of the outstanding quality of Chloe’s research, dedication, and hard work throughout her studies.

We're proud to be sponsoring St Johns Health & Fitness for their upcoming "Race to the Sun" charity event, raising funds for Leeds General Infirmary and St James's Kidney Wards.

St John's is a big part of the local community, with many of our Harris team regularly using the gym on Andrew Street and stopping by for a coffee in the café below.

Thom Morgan from the Wakefield office will be taking on the full challenge on 20th June, running as many 10km loops around Wakefield as possible from sunrise to sunset at 21:35. That's up to 17 hours of running, contributing towards an incredible collective target of over 1,407km (the equivalent distance from Land's End to John O' Groats).

Several other members of the Harris team will also be joining throughout the day to support the challenge and this fantastic cause.

We have submitted plans for a new M&S food store in Northwich. The proposed 18,000 sqft unit has been designed on behalf of Rothstone Estates and submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council. The store would mark a return to Northwich for which has been absent since its Barons Quay store closed six years ago.

We were thrilled that Wakefield Civic Society has recognised our work on behalf of Rushbond Plc to transform the former Victorian police station and superintendent’s house on Wood Street into 33 apartments and a four-bedroom home.

We’re proud to have been involved in the delivery of a new teaching and collaboration space for CATCH at Stallingborough which formally opened this week.

CATCH is a hub for industry engagement and skills development to support hydrogen technology, carbon capture and renewable energy technology across the Humber, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire regions.

The project provides an expansion of the existing facility to include a new multi-purpose lecture and conference theatre, collaboration space, an immersive VR/AR learning suite and offices.

The development was designed as an expansion to an existing office building on the site. The design included a full internal and external refurbishment of the existing building, integrated into the new teaching and conference space.

The scheme was delivered alongside Lindum Construction as the first phase of a wider vision to expand the teaching facility at CATCH.
