Highways & Grounds Operative – Immediate Start

CSCS is an advantage
Driving license is an advantage (no more than 6 points)

18+ for insurance reasons

Hope Ground & Tree Care Ltd is seeking motivated individuals to join our established and expanding arboriculture and grounds maintenance team.

You must be able to work nights, occasionally weekends and some work maybe away from home though we are not prioritising this.

You must be able to pass an Alcohol and Drug test, also at random intervals.

You’ll be involved in a variety of tree and vegetation management works for commercial clients. This is a hands-on, outdoor role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

Experience and relevant tickets are desirable but not essential — training and progression available for the right candidate.

Work is continuous working mainly on highways, rivers, and anywhere vegetation grows!

We are looking for new applicants to join our busy teams working on the Highways Landscape up and down the country.

You must:

Be able to pass a drugs and alcohol test
Be physically fit
Be able to work on own initiative
Be able to work as part of a team
Be able to work night shifts occasionally
Be able to work away from home occasionally
Be prepared to work long hours on occasion
Good communication skills

Advantages but not a must:

CSCS card
Lantra or city & guild qualifications
Driving license

Experience is not essential as all training will be given

You will receive great rates of pay
28 days paid holiday including bank holidays
Option to pay into pension scheme

What our work involves:

Working on motorways up and down the country

Grass cutting
Ground based arborist works
Chemical spraying
Soft landscape works
