We were pleased to be returning to this customer, who first used our services around two years ago when we created two off-road parking spaces for their growing family on this busy estate.
Our priority this time was to help transform the rear garden into a safe, practical and enjoyable space for family life.
Over time, the Leylandii hedge had grown significantly into the garden — in places reaching widths of around 1.5 metres. While it once provided privacy, its size and density had started to cause problems. There was a large amount of dead wood, and the heavy shading had left the lower sections sparse and patchy, with visible gaps.
After discussing the options with the homeowners, the decision was made to fully remove the hedge, including the stumps, to open up the space and start fresh.
We’ve now installed a new enclosed fence, which provides a clean, secure boundary while also delivering improved and more consistent privacy.
With the area cleared and levelled, the garden is now ready for a new lawn — creating a safe, secure and usable space for the family to enjoy, especially as the weather improves.
A great transformation that really changes how this garden can be used day to day.
