After two decades in business, I’ve learned this:
You don’t build a better business by having fewer problems.
You build a better business by graduating to better ones.
Early on, it’s about putting out fires:
Late-paying customers.
Last-minute changes.
Staff sickness.
Running out of work.
Cashflow worries.
But if all your energy stays there, you’ll never get around to the things that actually move the needle.
Building systems.
Improving your sales process.
Developing your team.
Increasing profitability.
Creating a business that gives you more freedom rather than demanding more from you.
Problems never disappear.
The goal is simply to stop spending your life solving the same ones.
What problem are you solving most of the time right now?
