Which stencil material is right for your project? 🎨

For detailed wall designs, our thinner polyester films sit closely against the surface to help create clean, sharp results.

For larger floor, road, warehouse and industrial markings, thicker polypropylene provides greater strength and rigidity.

We can also produce self-adhesive vinyl stencils for detailed, single-use applications, along with options in card, plywood, MDF and acrylic.

Thicker isn’t always better—the best choice depends on:

✈️ Clear, durable floor markings for busy aviation hangars.

We recently produced this custom **“ZR BULK” stencil** for Next Level Flooring, laser cut from strong **3 mm polypropylene**.

Their team used it to apply crisp black lettering inside the newly marked yellow storage zone, creating a highly visible and professional finish.

Rigid polypropylene stencils are ideal for hangars, warehouses and industrial environments because they can be positioned accurately, cleaned and reused whenever markings need refreshing.

From artwork to application ⚓

We recently produced a large custom yacht logo stencil for the Sea Eagle vessel, transforming supplied artwork into a workable stencil system ready for hull application.

Due to the scale of the design (approx. 2200mm x 2000mm), the stencil was produced in overlapping sections to allow accurate alignment and seamless application directly onto the yacht hull.

The final result created a clean, bold finish against the dark hull surface and showed how effective large-format stencils can be for marine branding and vessel graphics.

From CAD files to a full-scale replica cockpit ✈️

We recently laser cut the MDF panel components for this incredible A320 flight simulator build, created by and .eg. Using supplied CAD drawings, we manufactured the structural parts ready for assembly — helping turn a digital design into a physical cockpit.

Projects like this are a great example of how laser cutting can support detailed model making, prototyping, and large multi-part builds where consistency and repeatability really matter.
