🌾 Farm Safety Week | Safety Starts with Quality Seed Treatment Every step toward a safer farm begins long before planting. At Germains, we apply rigorous quality standards throughout our seed treatment process to help protect growers, operators, and the environment. Our quality controls include:

✔️ Precision application of seed treatment products at the labelled rate.
✔️ Advanced film coating technology that securely binds plant protection products to the seed.
✔️ Stringent dust-off testing on every production batch to verify coatings remain on the seed, helping reduce dust generation during handling and planting.

By combining precision application with robust quality assurance, we're helping deliver cleaner seed, safer handling, and reliable field performance. Together, we're advancing safer farming practices across the seed supply chain.

🎉 This year, Germains proudly celebrates 155 years of innovation while joining industry partners at the 80th IIRB Congress—two milestones that reflect a shared commitment to advancing the future of sugar beet production. Our journey in the UK began in 1965 with the opening of our King's Lynn seed treatment facility, and for decades, we've been proud participants in the IIRB Congress, collaborating with researchers, breeders, and growers to drive innovation across the sugar beet industry.

Since becoming part of Associated British Foods plc (ABF) in 1990, and now part of the AB Agri family, we've continued to build on our legacy of delivering innovative seed technologies that help growers produce healthier, more resilient crops.
🌱 155 years of innovation. 🌍 Growing the future together.

As the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary, we are proud to reflect on Germains' place in the nation's agricultural history. Established in 1871 in Los Angeles, California, Germains has partnered with generations of growers and seed producers for 155 years to strengthen crop establishment, improve seed performance, and contribute to a secure and sustainable food supply. What began in California has grown into a global business, supporting seed companies and growers across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond.

Today, as part of the AB Agri family, we continue to build on that legacy by combining more than a century and a half of seed expertise with a shared commitment to helping produce safe, nutritious, and sustainably grown food for a growing world.

Every seed we enhance represents another step toward a stronger, more resilient global food supply chain.

🌱 155 years of innovation.
🌍 One global purpose.
