Recently got to work on an old Victorian wash house, the brickwork on the old washing machine needed some attention. I rebuilt the old chimney stack, probably the smallest one I’ve ever built, managed to add some detail brickwork to the chimney and made a new chimney pot out of an old clay drainage pipe.
Replaced old perished bricks where needed alongside some repointing on the outside of the building and laid a new stone floor.
The building’s now one step closer to being brought back to life and use.
