A stunning oak veranda above the beautiful Poldhu beach. Last year we were lucky enough to be able to replace an original painted wood veranda with a new European oak one requiring no maintenance or upkeep. The original suffered badly with its paint being stripped by bad storms. This new and improved version has been left to season naturally. Since completion the building contractor JMH Stonemasons ltd has laid a new patio around our posts and fully painted the house.

Bespoke cabinetry and furniture are always great to make. A previous customer who we made all there hardwood windows and an oak staircase for wanted us the make an entrance hall unit and baby gates for them.

The spec of the baby stair gates was to make the gates from solid oak and have painted columns in birch ply. The columns were attached with little oak toggles, as the customers didn’t want any fixings into they’re solid oak knewl posts. Once there no longer required they can be removed in minutes.

The entrance hall unit was designed to hide every day essentials such as coats, hats torches etc. Utilising the space available whilst leaving a seat to sit down and put your shoes on has helped to make great use of the corner.
