🌿 A little quieter on the posting front…

I haven’t been posting quite as much recently, mainly because the weather has slowed the growth down a fair bit, so there hasn’t been quite as much to share!

I’ve also taken a few days off to catch up with friends and have a bit of a break — it’s important to make the most of the quieter periods too. 😊

But now I’m looking forward to getting back into it, with a busy week ahead after the Bank Holiday weekend! 💪🌱

📅 I’m also starting to get booked up, with very limited space for smaller grass-cutting jobs from mid-September onwards.

So if you’ve been meaning to get in touch now is a good time to message and get yourself booked in. 🌿✂️

🌿 BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! 🌿

It’s been another busy week at Rough Around the Edges! 🌱✂️ A massive thank you to all my regular customers and everyone keeping me on my toes during the summer season. It’s much appreciated! ❤️

With the hosepipe ban now in place here in Cornwall, don’t forget your plants and flowers still need looking after! 💦🌸

🌱 A few tips to keep your plants happy:
• Water early in the morning or later in the evening to reduce evaporation.
• Use a watering can or stored rainwater where possible.
• Give plants a good, slow soak around the roots rather than a quick sprinkle.
• Mulch around plants to help keep moisture in the soil.
• Prioritise newly planted flowers, hanging baskets, pots and young plants — they’ll dry out much quicker.
• Check your plants regularly, especially during hot and windy weather.

And remember, a little bit of TLC now can make a big difference! 🌻🌳
