I started a joinery apprenticeship in 1996 at Charlestown joinery which lasted 3 years, i then stayed another 5 years making windows,doors,shopfronts and mainly staircases. In 2004 i moved to Rustler Yachts in Falmouth where i made internal joinery on the yachts, this is where i became more of a cabinet maker and really honed my skills, while i was there i worked my way up within in the company an

d became a manager/charge hand of the Rustler 44 which i also helped to develop, we built 6 44's while i was there and my last one was for Princess Anne, it was great meeting her and certainly a high point to finish on. In august 2012 i went self-employed and started my company Duchy Holmes which is going from strength to strength.

We have recently been part of the refurb it was great to help out and change the look of this awesome restaurant, we added the new wall cladding in solid ash, and then created a new bar area with above shelving storage and hanging glass rails all in solid ash, we also made the wall storage unit behind the bar giving lots more storage, thank you to for the stone on the bar, thank you to for putting us forward for this project great work all round.

We’ve just finished this bathroom, we installed a new bathroom at the property a number of years ago and the new owners needed a new configuration so round 2! Really impressed with the finish, the guys did a great job and the clients said it exceeded their expectations! Thanks to for supplying the bathroom fittings. ❤️

It’s looking great.

Dreamy😍 So excited to share a snapshot of one of our favourite features in our showroom - this beautiful reeded down-stand in front of the sink accompanied by some classy reeded glass wall units above, featuring the new patinated brass Flex Quooker tap.

Things are progressing nicely in the showroom at the moment, more progress updates to follow soon!

We are putting plans in place for our open event (date tbc soon!) and we are also going to schedule some networking events for locals who work in the home improvement industry and would like to broaden their contacts and meet new like-minded people.
