Weekly workshop update 🔨
Windows, windows and more windows! 👌
It’s been another seriously busy week in the workshop, with the team cracking on with a whole range of bespoke windows.
From intricate curved designs to traditional timber frames, there’s been plenty going on — lots of measuring, machining, assembling, sanding and finishing, with plenty of attention to the details that make each one unique.
It’s great to see so many windows coming together and ready for the next stage.
Big thanks to the whole team for the hard work this week. 💪

Sash Mock-Up Friday. 🔨
Today's focus is a pre-sand hang-up—an important stage before final preparation and finishing.
It's the best way to check every detail, from clearances and ironmongery to ensuring the sash operates exactly
For this project we're utilising hinges from and Accoya® timber supplied by , combining premium materials with traditional craftsmanship to create windows built to last.

We were delighted to receive this lovely thank you card from the Devoran Quay Preservation Society following our donation to their recent regatta raffle.

The bespoke chopping board, handcrafted from beautiful Ash, was made especially for the raffle and we're thrilled to hear it was so well received.

Supporting local groups, charities and community organisations is something we're always proud to do, and it's wonderful to know our contribution helped make the event a success.

Thank you to everyone at DQPS for the kind words and for all the great work you do preserving such an important part of our local heritage.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-quality bespoke joinery projects, creating beautifully crafted pieces with a team that takes pride in exceptional workmanship.

Previous bench joinery experience is essential. We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail, a passion for craftsmanship, and the ability to work to a high standard.
