Another reminder of our Show Day this Saturday 5th September. FREE entry to the site as always and plenty to see. We have loads of items to sell on our sales table - lots of gardening relate items and non related garden bits including hundreds of plant pots and some 2ft sq greenhouse glass for anyone with bits missing or planning ahead if or when we have winter storms. Have a look at the poster - there's bound to be something to tempt you.

Our Beekeepers have loads of honey from the allotment hives to sell so if you want some real , non blended honey , they have loads for sale.

As we support local businesses , we only do cash unfortunately but it does save their costs. Thank you.

Look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday .

Good afternoon again !!

I thought it might be useful for anyone looking at this site to have sight of how we communicate with our plotholders with our Newsletter . Compiled 3 times a year and gives info about things happening on the site and general advice which might be of interest. Might be useful to anyone and shows how we keep everyone up to date. I'll send another post with the second page.

Hi every one. Just want to pass on a message from our ' Lead ' organiser for our Open Day at our site today, 4th July. A brilliant day with ideal weather .

Hi all,
As the committee “lead” for today’s Open Day, can I say a huge thank you to everyone who helped to set up yesterday, who brought cakes along for me to sell, who helped to dismantle and put away at the end, and those who just came along to support the event! It went extremely well (thanks to the weather gods, who looked down kindly on us, too!), and it was lovely to see so many people from the surrounding area coming to see the site.

Thanks again,

Jan
Vice-chair

Thanks to Radio Wilts for some air time as well , and everyone who helped to advertise the event. Our next event is our Show Day on Saturday 5th Sept when all of our plot holders will be able to exhibit their produce against RHS judging criteria. Our usual help is needed with donations welcome to help support our site costs . Don't forget our BBQ/ Cake and Cream Teas / Beekeepers doing their updates and selling their honey, Sales Stand/ and Tombola. Look out for our updates but whoever supported our event today -- THANK YOU very much

Forgot to mention about our Open Day tomorrow , yes , tomorrow Sat 4th July, that we also have 2 of our beekeepers on hand to explain anything that you may need to know about bees and the process from collecting pollen to producing the very very tasty honey that they produce. Come along, have a chat and enlighten yourselves on honey production. There MIGHT ( not guaranteeing ) be some honey to purchase .

Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow - remember 11am until about 2 ish . Loads of gazebos in place for some shade.

Enjoy your 3 hours or so with us.

Oh , as always , it's FREE entry !

Another reminder that we have our Open Day at the allotment site this Saturday 4th July. Opens at 11 am and goes through until about 2 ish or when the BBQ runs out ! The weather forecast is excellent with temps about 21 to 23 *. We'll have quite a few gazebos spread around to help with some shade and plenty of tables and chairs. as a reminder, we have our sales table offering a good variety of used items such as tools and also some very cheap ( unused ) 6ft and 8ft garden canes , bags of chicken pellets as fertiliser etc. There's bound to be something to attract you. If nothing there, have a go at our Tombola and also take a look at the RUH Charity fundraising stand as another option. Please don't spend all your cash , sorry we only do cash, but the BBQ will be going as well or have a cream tea to help you relax . If not too warm for anyone , feel feel to have a wander around the site at your leisure but please don't help yourself to produce !

Look forward to seeing you on Saturday .
