These two men in this photo are a massive part of my life!

The handsome one in the hat is Dan I’ve got to know more recently, he’s the owner of TIWI Cork Spray and just a genuinely down to earth guy. He’s become a proper friend, not just someone I work with! Last week he was checking in on me via WhatsApp every single day he even threatened to drive all the way up to Scotland just to help get me back on my feet! That’s what a mate is! that’s a man who truly cares… and honestly? It’s something really special.

The second handsome guy is Kirk Johnstone (on the trowel) You’ve probably all seen the amazing content he puts out there. I followed him way back before I even became a plasterer! He’s taught me so much and not just about the trade, but about life itself too. Another down to earth bloke, who probably doesn’t even realise just how many people take so much from his open, honest posts on social media.

Tonight they met up for “work purposes”… a pint was definitely the real excuse 🤣 and they sent me this wee photo along with a message:

“We were just sat here, and he said he knows a crazy Scottish bloke who blames me for a tattoo on his chest, he said your name, and I just cracked up laughing.”

I replied: “Aye, I know Scott , known him for years, he’s a top bloke.”

And well… here we are pal! Dan speaks very highly of you ☝️☝️👊

Crazy Scottish bloke… ah well, I’ve been called far worse 😂😂😂

Seriously though — check in on your mates, guys. It honestly makes a hell of a difference ❤️

As you know we live helping the community..well that extended all the way to the highlands when we noticed a lovely couple who had a flat tyre, they went out their way to find us on social media to give us a message ❤️
