✨ Finally finished this bookmark! ✨

I honestly can’t believe it took me so long to get this one stitched up 😅 But it’s finally finished, and I’m so happy with how it turned out!

This month, I’m on a mission to work through my WIPs (Works in Progress) and get some of those long-loved projects moved a little closer to the finish line 🪡💜

🧵✨ May Stitch Challenge – Complete! ✨🧵

And just like that… May’s Stitch Challenge is officially finished! 🎉🪡

I ended the month with 16 points and I’m actually really pleased with how I got on 💜

Here’s how May looked:
🪡 2 Stitches points
🎯 1 StitchO point
🙈 3 OOPS board points (because no stitching month is complete without a bit of chaos 😂)
⭐ 10 Stitchie Bonus points

I also set myself a goal for the month of May and made solid progress towards my 7,000 stitch goal, completing 2,400 stitches along the way 💪

My StitchO board had a nice mix of challenges completed too — from stitching on different days, audiobook stitching, social bits and random little achievements that made stitching even more fun 📚🧵

And of course… the OOPS board definitely kept things realistic 🤣

✨ Hello June… my FlossTube Anniversary Month! ✨

How are we already here?! 🤯

June is a very exciting month because it’s my FlossTube anniversary month 🧵💜 and I am SO ready for a quieter, stitchier season.

This month, I’m setting myself a challenge to stitch EVERY SINGLE DAY in June 🙌🏻 Honestly? I am really looking forward to slowing down a little and spending more time with needle, thread and cosy stitching moments.

For once, my calendar is looking a little calmer — no Comic Conventions to work and no Cheer competitions to compete in 🎉 (although I am working at one cheer competition 👀). The best bit? My stitching will absolutely be tagging along because I’ll be travelling there by train… and we all know train journeys = elite stitching time 🚆🪡

Work-wise, June is going to be a quieter month too, which means I’m still continuing the Texas job hunt 🇺🇸🤠 So… if anyone in the Dallas, Texas area is looking for a slightly chaotic, tea-fuelled, British member of staff with excellent enthusiasm and a fabulous accent… you know where I am 😆

And because apparently I like to keep myself accountable… the goal is 7,000 stitches again this month! 🧵✨

I’ll also be using my gorgeous planner from Creatively Crafting as part of the Stitchee Collective, which I’m really excited about — hopefully it’ll keep me organised and motivated!

Here’s to a month of stitches, finishes, progress, cosy crafting vibes and maybe even a little bit of calm 💜

After a super delayed start to my day — I was meant to leave Milton Keynes at 06:39, but my train was heavily delayed 😩 — I’m finally on my way to MCM Comic Con at the ExCeL! 🎉

Of course, I couldn’t travel empty-handed… I’ve brought some stitching with me: my “Space” printed kit from Temu 🚀✨ Perfect for keeping me busy on the journey!

🧵✨ Back at The Bramble Patch in Weedon today and making more progress on my Farmer’s Wife Sampler Quilt! ✨🧵

Today’s focus has been the sashing sections for each block, and I’m finally starting to see it all come together 😍

Last month, Alicia and I picked the colours and decided to go with black and purple 💜🖤 (which I’m absolutely loving!). I’ve decided to make a lap quilt, using 50 of the 111 blocks from the The Farmer’s Wife Sampler Quilt.

Now I’ve got a bit of a quilting dilemma… 🤔

Do I:
✨ Make all 111 blocks and then choose my favourite 50 for the quilt?
OR
✨ Stick to the first 50 blocks and just use those?

April Stitching Update! 🧵✨

April didn’t quite go to plan… but progress is progress, right? 😂

My goal was 6,000 stitches, but I finished the month with 4,711 stitches instead — not quite there, but still something I’m really proud of! 💛

I also completed 2 out of 5 OOPS challenges (apparently losing things and dog hair are just part of the stitching life 🐶🤣) and I was so close to finishing a full Stitcho Board!

These pages are from my amazing planner by Creatively Crafting and honestly it makes tracking my stitching so much fun each month.

Now… bring on May and some bigger stitchy goals! ✨🪡

✨ Today is April’s EPP class at The Bramble Patch and I’m so excited to get stitching! 🧵

The goal for today? To get Blocks 7 and 8 of my Farmer’s Wife Sampler all stitched up and ready ✨ Fingers crossed for a productive, cosy day full of fabric, thread and plenty of EPP happiness! 💕

I will have on in the background; through my hearing aids, to keep me company!!

April is going to be a big month for me… in so many ways 💫

It’s been a whole year since I took in Arty 🐾 and honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without him. He’s been my constant through everything.

It will also be my mum’s second heavenly birthday 🤍 which always brings a mix of emotions… but I’ll be holding onto all the love and memories.

On a brighter note, this is the month my new home (boat life 🚤✨) will finally be ready for me to move onto – a fresh chapter that I’m both excited and slightly nervous about.

Alongside all of that, life is going to be BUSY… I’ll be working a lot, actively job hunting, and still making time for the things I love most 💕

You’ll still find me streaming when I can – stitching, crafting and co-working together. Those quiet, creative moments mean everything, and I can’t wait to share them with you 🧵✨

Here’s to a month of change, growth, memories and new beginnings 💛
