An old customer of mine broke their mower and asked me to cut it for them 😆 a tad long!

Not a good idea to leave your lawn so long as all the growth and greenery is in the top layers so once cut down it’s all brown and stringy underneath.

Strimmed and mowed with an Etesia mulching mower.

Hopefully they’ll get their mower fixed soon and they’ll keep on top of the grass 🤪🤪

Nice chainsawing and splitting job today in Buckingham, mix of softwood and hardwood and even a bit of ancient eucalyptus! And under cover which is always nice when it’s a tad warm!

The Sullivans 16 tonne tow behind splitter is a beast 💪💪💪 absolutely love using it.

Last Friday we had the pleasure of carrying out some chainsawing up of some large oversized rounds of some beech wood for Louis, both Louis and his wife kindly marked up the lengths for us and shifted the rounds we cut onto pallets so Russel and I could maximise the wood cutting!

Despite the heat we cut a fair amount up for them and Some massive bits in there some over 800mm in diameter!

Now all we have cut is ready for Louis to split and pack in IBCs ready for next wood selling season!

Wood Processing Job – Newport Pagnell 🪵

Today we carried out a great wood processing project for Robin near Newport Pagnell — an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to work for 👍

The timber was spot on — clean, well stacked, and importantly kept off the ground. He’d used old telegraph poles as a base, which is a brilliant idea for keeping logs dry, off the floor and in good condition 👌

Plenty of oversized wood for Russel and I to get stuck into with the chainsaws — we do enjoy a proper wood processing job 💪💪

All thats left for Robin to do is cut up x2 massive 1000mm plus diameter pieces and split the rounds ready for autumn.

Mobile Splitting and wood processing service.

At RMS Commercial Landscapes Ltd , we offer a reliable and efficient mobile wood processing and log splitting service across Milton Keynes, Towcester, and all surrounding areas.

Our Sullivans engineering splitter features a 16-tonne splitting capacity, capable of handling even the toughest timber—provided it fits beneath the ram.

We also offer log cutting and processing using chainsaws, ensuring your timber is fully prepared to your requirements ready for the wood burning season.

For larger-scale jobs, we can supply a wood processor. Please note, this requires either:

A single-phase power supply, or

An on-site generator with a blue single-phase connection.

The wood processor cuts logs up to 300mm in diameter.

This service is ideal for domestic and commercial clients looking to process firewood quickly and efficiently.

We are conveniently based between Milton Keynes and Towcester, allowing us to cover a wide service area including Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Olney, Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable and further afield.
