Lovely job completed in Totnes recently.

This elderly gentleman wanted to get rid of the fruit tree and have the area closed off completely, offering more privacy & security.

We also replaced a small section of fence at the rear of the property, cleared away a load of green waste that had been rotting away and also widened the path by relaying the stone wall resulting in better access for his mobility scooter.

We also re-used the front gate as it was still structurally sound, keeping the total cost down for the customer. And of course re-hung it the right way round!

Hedge out, Fence up 👍🏻

This border between the 2 properties had started to get out of control and the customer was finding it difficult to manage. The hedge was full of old wire fencing and other various materials.

We cut out the hedge, removed all the old junk disposing of it all at our local recycling centres.

21 metres of featheredge fencing installed using outdoor treated timber throughout. Blackjack on our posts for longevity and peace of mind for the customer that for years to come this will be as low maintenance as possible.

We will be revisiting this property soon to install 66m2 of patio and complete other various landscaping works.

We recently completed a full fence replacement, upgrading an old, worn-out lollipop-style fence to a much stronger and more traditional feather edge finish. Also offering increased privacy.

As per the neighbours request we also installed a small feature wall of feather edge on her side which in all honesty we weren't sure about at first but turned out great!

The last 2 days have been spent reducing this 55 metre stretch of tree line border by roughly 10FT for a new client.

Doing this will create a better chance at generating more growth lower down, allowing it to bush up around the thinner areas and create better screening between the two properties in the future. Allowing more light in across the top and generally looking much tidier whilst also being much easier for the customer to maintain.

We battled the elements right from the get go, but rain or shine you can always rely on Dartside to get the job done! As always, one very satisfied customer.
