We've had a mega busy couple of weeks recently, with us being down to a one man team due to holidays (nice for some) 👀.

Getting some of the smaller jobs and surveys ticked off of the list alongside this small window job completed at the end of last week.

This week it's all go, back onto a conservatory installation in this insane heat which we'll share with you once completed.

Another Velux project completed ✔️

This installation involved replacing a duo Velux setup with a combination flashing, alongside two additional single Velux windows.

The job came with a few access challenges, which always adds an extra layer of planning and care, but nothing we couldn't overcome. To make things even more interesting, we were also battling through some less-than-ideal weather throughout the week.

Despite the obstacles, the installation went smoothly and the finished result has given the property a fresh new look. The new white polyurethane Velux windows not only offer improved thermal performance, but also help reflect natural light around the room, making the space feel noticeably brighter and more inviting.

A few of our recent Velux installations completed over the past few weeks ✔️

We've been flat out with our uPVC and roofline projects recently, so it's been great to get back onto some Velux replacements and upgrades in between.

The weather has certainly been keeping us on our toes, with more than a few showers trying to disrupt our schedule, but we've managed to work around it and keep delivering for our customers.

Here's a selection of some of the jobs we've completed recently. Every property is different, and each installation comes with its own challenges, but seeing the finished result makes it all worthwhile.

Out with the old and in with the new 👌

This striking blue composite door was recently fitted in Ipplepen, replacing an old uPVC panel door that had definitely seen better days.

The installation threw a few surprises our way, but that's all part of the job. After working through the issues, we were left with a fantastic end result that has completely refreshed the front of the property.

It's amazing what a difference a new front door can make to the overall look and feel of a home.

Another Velux replacement completed ✔️

We recently spent the day replacing four tired old pine Velux windows, giving the space a much-needed upgrade.

The new white polyurethane windows have completely brightened the room, making a huge difference in both appearance and natural light.

There were a few issues to rectify from the previous installation, but nothing we couldn’t resolve quickly to ensure a proper, long-lasting finish.

Another roofline transformation completed ✔️

We recently replaced the fascia, soffit, and guttering on this property, finished in a modern agate grey with anthracite guttering for a clean contemporary look.

As part of the job, we also installed new dry verge systems to both gables, replacing the rotten felt and battens along the way to ensure everything was properly renewed and protected.

Combined with the customer having the exterior of the house freshly painted to complement the new roofline colours, the finished result has completely transformed the appearance of the property.

Another Velux window replacement completed ✔️

We recently replaced two severely rotten Velux windows that had been causing ongoing water damage inside the property.

Despite a challenging day battling through some heavy showers, we got the job completed and watertight by the end of the day.

The customer can now enjoy brand-new, thermally efficient Velux windows that not only look great, but most importantly, no longer leak.

Another transformation completed ✔️

We recently removed an old window and replaced it with a brand-new set of French doors, creating a much more accessible entrance from the garden straight into the lounge area.

This one came with its challenges, as the existing render had been finished over the old window frame, making removal far more difficult than expected — but the end result was well worth it.

A huge improvement both visually and practically, replacing a tired old window with a clean, modern set of French doors.

Another recent project completed ✔️

We installed coastline composite cladding around the entire property to completely transform the appearance, finished in a beautiful taupe colour for a clean, modern look.

This project took 8 days from start to finish — another great transformation completed.

Another Velux job completed this week 🪟

We replaced two tired old roof windows with one new polyurethane Velux and one white painted.

This one came with a few challenges — tricky access and the odd heavy shower — but we got there in the end 💪

Blinds to be fitted at a later date.
