Recent job weve completed on a property built in the 1700''s in Harbeton Village.

Works consisted of;
Removal of asbestos slates, old bitumous felt and battens,
Remedial/replacement timber works to rafters, carried out by Richard Hawke Carpentry,
Repleacment of lead detailing to chimney and abutment wall with remedial render repairs,
Installation of Gaelic Natural slate with black clay ridge.

Great effort from the lads 👏

The scaffolding has been struck now on this lead project we recently completed in Totnes for Don't be roofless roofing contractors.

Works comprised of:
Removal of existing lead lining to box gutter area
Adjustment of timber bays to conform to lsa guidelines for lead sizing
Installation of code 5 lead sheet to gulley lining, apron lead to front cornice, vertical lead paneling to front and rear of parapet and top capping to finish.

The building should be watertight for years to come now!!
