Project Woodland

I’m not sure the day could have been any hotter for the team to get this pour completed, but they pushed through and got the job done.

7.5m³ of concrete later, the slab is in and ready for the blocklayers to get started.

Another key milestone ticked off, with DPC up next. 👷‍♂️

Project Beach Club

With the majority of the single-ply roof repairs now complete, it’s time to start reinstating the floating decking.

The original deck had significant movement and bounce, so we took the opportunity to upgrade the subframe from 50x50 timber joists to a much more robust 150x50 composite joist system, installed on adjustable Millboard pedestals.

This is a method we commonly use for floating deck installations, providing a stronger, more stable, and longer-lasting solution while allowing for precise levelling across the deck area.

Looking forward to seeing this one come back together. 🔨

Project Woodland

Out with the old and in with the new! ready for the next stage 🔨

Following the demolition of the existing garage, steps, sunroom, and chimney removal, we’re now moving onto groundwork. Footings are being dug and prepared for the concrete pour, ready for us to start setting out the blockwork and bring the new build to life. 🧱🚧

Project Coastguard

With the blockwork now up to DPC level, the inside of the garage floor has been fully prepared, insulated, and is now ready to receive the concrete pour for the finished floor slab.

The next stage is to bring the blockwork up to wall plate level and build the gable ends ready to receive the steel ridge beam. Once the steel is installed, we’ll be able to start cutting the roof on and really see the structure begin to take shape.

Another big step forward on this project, with everything coming together nicely. 🔨

Project Preston

Here we have a reclaimed clay brick paving patio installed just outside the kitchen area — and you can already picture the Sunday lunch get-togethers and late-night BBQs taking place out here. 🍴🔥

A more premium choice of material, but now everything has been sanded in and finished, you can really see it was the right decision. The character and finish of reclaimed clay brick gives a timeless look that will only get better with age.

Project Coastguard

With demolition works now coming to a close over at Project Coastguard, the next phase is officially underway with the foundations being prepared and poured.

Due to the nature of the subsoil on this project, we opted to install reinforced rebar within the concrete foundations to provide additional strength, improve long-term stability, and help reduce the risk of future subsidence.

Concrete delivered, foundations in, and now onto the next stage blockwork! 🔨

Project Beach Club

Following the success of our project at the sister hotel, we were contacted by a surveyor representing the hotel chain to investigate ongoing water ingress issues at this site.

Since starting in September 2025, the project has continued to grow and evolve, expanding into new decking areas, exterior cladding works, internal refurbishments, and much more. It’s been great to build a strong working relationship with both the on-site management team and the wider hotel chain throughout the project.

A great example of how one successful project can lead to long-term partnerships and larger ongoing works. Stay tuned for more progress photos as the transformation continues. 🔨

Project Coastguard

Our client is a passionate classic bike collector who had spent years working out of a cramped old shed with little to no space. Together with CWJ Architecture, a more practical solution was designed. A detached dream garage and ultimate man cave built to match both function and style.

We started this project back in February and we’re now not far from completion. Stay tuned to see the progress photos and transformation throughout the build. 🔨🏍️
