Role: Solar PV Administrator
Location: Tonypandy Office
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday/Friday (40 Hours a week)
Salary: Starting at National Minimum Wage
We are seeking a motivated and organised Solar PV Administrator to support our growing Renewables Team. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and an interest in the renewable energy sector. You will assist with project coordination, customer communication, and documentation related to solar PV and battery storage installations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the renewables team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Manage and update project files, job trackers, and customer records.
• Prepare and submit DNO (Distribution Network Operator) applications.
• Assist in compiling handover packs and ensuring all compliance documents are complete.
• Liaise with customers to book appointments, confirm site surveys, and answer basic queries.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for equipment orders and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inboxes and ensure timely responses to incoming requests.
• Provide administrative support during audits or certification renewals (e.g. MCS).
• Ensure all data is accurately recorded in line with company procedures.
Essential:
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn about solar PV and Battery systems
Desirable:
• Previous experience in an administrative role
• Interest or background in renewable energy or construction
• Experience with CRM systems or job management software
