December 2026, the government are increasing the costs of planning applications, by a significant amount. Some of the larger schemes possibly by as much as 25%.
Fully appreciate many farmers are focusing quiet rightly on their harvests, it may pay everyone ( farmers, landowners, etc) who are considering a new building, altering the use of an existing building or refurbishing one to think about submitting a planning application before this price rise.
