Below are some photos of a slate roof we just started.
As you can see from the photos this roof was in need of being replaced as the battens were starting to rot and the whole slate roof was being held together with acrypol.

We’ve used pressure treated 2x1 battens with a new breathable membrane. With reusing as many slates as possible getting new in where needed.

Some verge details on a project completed a few weeks ago.
This was on a new timber frame building. With counter battened roof breathable membrane and new pressure treated 25x38mm battens.

Tiles used were a Redland brown plain tile with Redland tile and half’s.
Finished off with a traditional Sand and cement verge to keep the traditional look and stay the same as the surrounding property’s.

A 70sqm felt flat roof we completed last year.
Consisted of ripping off the old felt flat roof and replacing with new boarding a new 3 layer felt system. Giving the customer no need to worry about there roof for a long time.

Start of a new flat roof today.
With the original flat roof showing signs of age it was in need of a replacement.
With also installing a 2x1m sky light to allow some natural light in the room below.

We will be installing new 18mm osb boards with a liquid rubber system with a 20year manufacturer guarantee.

Another job up for renewal of fascia and soffit.

Grinding out the chimney and renewing with new cement.
Renewing the flaunching on top of the chimney.
And renewal of two flat roofs out the back.

Another project nearing the end of completion.

With the Gates and railings just needing an extra coat to finally complete everything.

And one Line missing above the door arch!!

This project has taken 6/7 weeks to fully complete. With a full grind out and re point.

Freshly painted doors, windows and stones.

Really bought this building back to life and much more appealing than before!

From us doing the roof 2 years ago to now fully refurbing the outside this has majorly transformed this building.

Some really good progress made at the chapel in Groombridge.
All repointing finished with the front being replicated to what was there originally. With very faint painted lines to replicate the pointing.

The front door finished in Oxford blue with all windows being finished in a white gloss.
All stones have been finished in an off white to follow the same colour as the pointing.

Here below we have a photo of one of our latest projects nearing the end of completion.

- We have raked out all the old lime joints and replaced with all new lime pointing.
- Currently re painting all fascia’s, soffits, Stone work, doors and windows.
- Applied new pvc guttering to the sides including new down pipes.
- Installing 6 new air vents to the building.

This project will be fully completed next week.
