A very busy first half of 2026 for SJM Planning! 🏡🌳
Between January and June, we submitted 109 planning applications across 32 different local planning authorities.
These have included everything from rural and agricultural projects, householder schemes and lawful development certificates, through to listed building consent, prior approvals, discharge of conditions, commercial proposals and larger planning applications.
It also makes this our busiest first half of the year in recent years, with more applications submitted by the end of June than at the same point in 2023, 2024 or 2025.
Of the 2026 applications determined so far, 52 have already been approved, giving us a 79% approval rate at this stage of the year.
A big thank you to all of our clients, consultants and local authority officers who we have worked with so far this year.
