⚠️ Warning!

We have Blue green algae at Haysden Water lake in Haysden Country Park and now have indications that this is also now blooming at Barden Lake. Bloom and scum forming blue-green algae can produce toxins harmful in humans and to dogs.

Our water users have been advised and signage reminders have been put up.

The algae are actually a naturally occurring species and bloom most years in the park.

⚠️ It is poisonous to animals and can cause severe illness and death

🐕‍🦺 Please do not let your dog in the water.

Complete redesign underway! 🌿

The client is eager to get planting – and so are we – but getting the design right always comes first.

Today we're preparing the bed by digging over the soil, removing old roots, and improving the planting area ready for its new scheme. With the current extreme heat, we're also carefully considering plant establishment, soil improvement, and long-term success.

We'll be incorporating drought-tolerant planting, adding fresh soil where needed, and recommending a quality mulch after planting to help retain moisture, suppress weeds, and give the new plants the best possible start.

Great gardens aren't rushed – they're built on good preparation. We can't wait to reveal the finished transformation. 🌸🐞
