Bedroom completed recently in Bewdley for a repeat customer. Walls were stripped and prepared then lined with Wallrock before two coats of Dulux Heritage Velvet Matt, ceilings sanded and finished in Dulux Ultra Matt and woodwork prepped and finished in Benjamin Moore Scuff X then a feature wall papered.

Usual spec on this one, Dulux Ultra Matt on ceilings, Dulux Heritage Velvet matt on walls and Benjamin Moore Scuff X on woodwork.
Once again the Q1 floor protection doing the trick, absolutely perfect on jobs that aren't carpeted and a lot safer.

Would just like to wish all our customers past, present and future a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We've just finished for the year and will be taking a break now until January 5th. It's been a very productive and busy year and hopefully the next 12 months will bring more of the same.

Job recently completed for repeat customer. First bedroom I’ve done that has its own personal cinema with that massive window! Such an amazing view to wake to every morning.
The room and en-suite were painted in the same colours that I used last year in the room next door to create a flow through effect, do love when customers choose colours away from the usual choices.
Ceiling finished in Dulux Trade Ultra Matt, walls finished in Dulux Heritage Velvet Matt, woodwork in Benjamin Moore Scuff X. En-suite was finished in Isomat Bath and Kitchen paint.

Recent job completed in Willenhall for a repeat customer.
Walls stripped and filled then papered with Laura Ashley paintable paper, painted with Armstead Vinyl matt then one feature wall papered with William Morris paper.
Bit of a squeeze as the bed and wardrobes had to remain but really happy how this one ended up.

Ten years ago at the start of this month, I set out fully on this journey of mine into the world of working for myself. A few didn't think I'd make two weeks yet alone ten years! I've wrote a short blog post about on my website https://dbarrettdecorating.co.uk/blog/post/ten-years-in-and-still-going so won't ramble on here!

I also thought I'd put up a picture of that first job alongside one of my last job, more for myself to see how far I'd come. Investing in courses, better equipment, better materials (well in some cases!) it's come a long way from then.
