Oak Media Unit
A recent project is this beautiful oak media unit. Offering a huge amount of storage for the some of the customer’s book collection, generously sized cupboards and space to mount the TV.
Everything is carefully grain matched, the oak veneer back panels run the full height of the open shelves, and the lower doors cut from the same sheets give a continuity with the wood grain showing through the painted finish.
The worktop, over 3m long, was made in-house with a thick MDF core for stability, veneered with wide pieces to give as few joins as possible, and a solid oak edging machined with a curved profile to match the shelving trims.
The unit was built using sheet materials from Finsa UK , Optimum Timber Supplies solid oak, and veneers from The Wood Veneer Hub📍Interior Inspiration , all finished using Avilac FD25 and Intact 40 from Tikkurila Paint.
We’ve not been as active on social media lately, that doesn’t mean we’ve been quiet though, quite the opposite, we’ve been working on a few exciting projects such as this one and look forward to sharing some more soon!
