Composite Wraparound Decking & Glass Balustrade β Transforming a Riverfront Caravan Pitch.
One of our favourite exterior builds this year π
This caravan sits right beside the River Wyre, but the entire area around it was unused, empty space with no structure or purpose. The client wanted something modern, low-maintenance and functional that actually made the most of the riverfront setting.
We designed and built a full wraparound composite decking system, accessed directly from the caravanβs rear sliding doors, creating a clean, solid outdoor living space overlooking the river.
π¨ Project Highlights:
β Full composite deck built from the ground up at the rear of the caravan
β Access onto the deck through the living room sliding doors
β Decking wraps around into the side garden for flow and continuity
β Glass balustrade system to maximise light and open up the river view
β Up-and-over steps at the front entrance for access into the side garden
β Bespoke composite gate, designed and built to finish the installation
β¨ The Result:
A completely new outdoor space where there was previously nothing β now a bright, modern and functional riverfront area with a seamless connection between the caravan interior and the outdoor decking.
Perfect for relaxing, hosting, and enjoying the waterfront setting in a clean, low-maintenance environment.
