I have been hard at work on this cabinet in the background while working on bespoke commissions for customers. This cabinet needed a huge amount of restoring. The burr walnut veneer was carefully sanded back to remove all the old cracked varnish. Some edges couldn’t be selvaged, so they were filled with a two pack filler and thin border was painted in Coal Black by fusionmineralpaintuk Oiled with Osmo UK A mains light was added in the middle cupboard which is turned on with a delightful wave of the hand inside the cabinet. The beautiful design in all 3 cabinets is by Cole & Son (Wallpapers) Ltd - Afrika Kingdom. A crocodile design was added to the inside of the side doors to add more drama and on the inside of the middle cabinet, top and bottom, some more was added and painted gold. All the gold was painted in the luxurious gold paint by Guild Lane | Materials for Makers

Just finished a whole kitchen makeover! It was scratched and very tired and in desperate need of updating.
And I think it has turned out beautifully.
Stripped and sanded the carcasses, doors, drawers, the island and the bench seat. Everything was primed and certain doors received Fusion Ultra Grip for extra durability. Paint Colours used for the Island - Ash and all the surrounding cupboards, larder and bench seat was painted in the gorgeous Damask. Paint by Fusion Mineral Paint UK topped with finishes varnish
