The before photos really don't do this justice, but the texture on the walls and ceiling left from previous decorators was extensive.

I also didn't do a great job of documenting all of the stages that went into producing the overall finish.

Highlights
- skimming the media wall to bring the plastering up to scratch (2 passes with the filler PLUS snagging)
- flattening and levelling the walls
- stain blocking a patch on the ceiling and repairing a hairline crack (so it doesn't come back once painted)
- sealing and priming the MDF
- skimming to conceal extensive texture on the ceiling left by previous decorators because it couldn't be sanded
- sealing the walls and ceiling to prevent issues when painting

I really enjoyed this one and am grateful for meeting such a lovely family who trusted me to deliver their vision.
