A complete home energy upgrade in Shrewsbury ☀️

This installation brings together 10 solar panels, 2 × 9kWh Sigenergy batteries, full-home backup, EV charging and a hot water solar diverter - all designed to help the homeowner make better use of the energy they generate.

With 18kWh of battery storage, excess solar can be stored for use later rather than going to waste, while the full backup system provides added reassurance by allowing the home to draw from its battery storage during a power cut.

Another complete home energy upgrade in Shawbury… this time, right across the street from Neighbour 01.

This home now has 18 solar panels, 16kWh Fogstar battery storage, Fujitsu Airstage air conditioning and a Zaptec EV charger - four technologies working together to help reduce energy costs and reliance on the grid.

☀️ Solar + battery storage
The solar panels generate electricity during the day, while the 16kWh battery allows excess energy to be stored and used later. A well-designed solar and battery system can potentially reduce household electricity bills by 60-80%, depending on energy usage, system performance and tariffs.

NEIGHBOUR 01 🙌

The first of two neighbouring homes in Shawbury that chose M J Wallace for a smarter, more energy-efficient home.

For this property, we installed:
☀️ 14 solar panels - generating clean electricity from the roof and reducing reliance on the grid.
🔋 16kWh Fogstar battery storage - storing excess solar energy to use later, rather than sending it straight back to the grid. The battery can also take advantage of cheaper off-peak electricity when needed.
❄️ Fujitsu Airstage air conditioning - providing efficient heating and cooling for year-round comfort in the bedroom.

Beyond the Installation: September 2026.

Two neighbours. Two mirroring systems⚡

We recently completed renewable energy installations for two neighbouring homes in Shawbury, with both choosing solar PV, Fogstar battery storage and Fujitsu Airstage air conditioning.

One property now has 14 solar panels, a 16kW Fogstar battery and air conditioning in the bedroom, while next door we installed 18 solar panels, a 16kW Fogstar battery, air conditioning in the bedroom and lounge, plus an EV charger.

Similar homes, tailored systems - designed around how each household actually uses its energy.
