Using hand grinders? Make sure they have stopped spinning before you put them back on the bench! See this so many times I always methodically check the cables and bend them if I see a tiny abrasion. Accident avoided.

A bit of shoddy repair work on a hand held stitching unit. Looks to be earthed but test shows it wasn’t! Rewired the cable correctly all good now! This was the shoddy setup.

Another failure. 5 way extension lead with individual switches. One was found to be loose and showing signs of a short. On removal something was broken inside as you could hear it shaking about as I gave it further inspection. Item left with the site contact on leaving unlike other companies who may not spot the issue and leave the item in situ!🤔

Keep an eye out on your laptop chargers. I see this is happening more often now the chargers are a few years old.
