Boiler replacement day 🤗

This one is a bit of a big beast designed for those users who want the benefit of a combination boiler but have a larger house with several bathrooms.

The old one is out and the pipe work is going in ready for the new one💪

🆘 Call - Boiler failure Typically again on a friday🤦‍♂️

This time was an external Grant Oil Fired Combi Boiler leaving the occupants without hot water 😳

Fault quickly identified as a faulty PCB. Sadly these are a special order, however Super speedy delivery, and swap over and boom,we are up and running!🤗

The Dreaded Friday morning Boiler breakdown. 😱

This time we have a Firebird oil fired boiler. (External). Been working fine then suddenly stopped!🤔

Quick investigation and check of the vitals revealed a faulty capacitor 🔍

Immediately replaced with one from our onboard van stock and Hey Presto burner kicks in and purrs like a kitten just in time for the weekend 🔧🪛

We recommend that oil and solid fuel heating systems are serviced at least annually by an OFTEC registered technician to ensure that they are operating safely. Solid fuel heating - including open fires - needs periodic maintenance and flues/chimneys will require sweeping both for safety and insurance purposes. Read more here

Lovely shiny new Grant External Oil Fired Combination Boiler, all stripped down and positioned in its new home ready for installation. 💪🛠️

Just hope the weather stays kind 😬🌧️💦
