It’s all go go go , water pipe buried , installed land drain, a wee cheeky pond dug out, 13T and mini dig working together, soil pipe started and to be finished later on 👍👍

When a very good friend asked for a hand fixing a silage pit before his second cut of silage was due to be taken, it’s hard to say no. Especially when you have two good helpers as well. Also some new drains put into the shed while your here 😂😂

A huge thank you to everyone supporting the Taynuilt Highland Games 2026

This year, our Heavies competitors will be proudly wearing Barr Blast kit on the field - a first year of sponsorship from Stewart Barr, and a genuinely generous commitment from a sole trader who believes in what we're doing here. Thank you, Stewart 🙏

And to our returning and continuing sponsors who make the whole day possible:
J.D Plant , , Scottish Sea Farms Ltd , Mackenzie Welding ltd,

None of this happens without the people who back it! ✨

It’s been a very busy few months, landscaping a clients garden in Taynuilt, foundations for another clients new house on isle of Seil and clearing an old site for a new client in Oban, Busy busy busy 👍👍💪💪😂😂

Finally a break in the weather. Land drains dug and back filled with 40mm washed gravel. 80 tonnes of type one spread and compacted around the house to smarting the area up. The skid steer is proving to be a very handy machine to move materials about. 👌👌👍👍

Does any know or recommend any good insurance company that does fleet insurance?

One good thing about this wet weather is you can quickly tell if your trench is running the right way 😂😂. A very wet and muddy few days putting in a few field drains in a famers field to try and help get the water away.
Big thanks to Angus Macfadyen for getting me back in to do the work.
