WE ARE NOW CLOSED….. Abode Building Update:

I would like to personally thank everyone who has supported us since we launched Abode Builders as it’s been an amazing journey, but I have decided to close the company and relocate to start the amazing new journey and chapter of life.

I have met so many wonderful people and learnt so many things in such a short period of time as owner and Director of the company and for that I am grateful beyond belief…

But as so many people have been saying to me, you only get one life, And what you do with it is entirely down to yourself in following your dreams and goals so it’s time to do exactly that and follow my heart..

I hope everyone follows there dreams and stays safe in these still troubling times.

A big thank you to all our customers/clients and may life resume to normal soon for all.

Every day we are getting closer to meeting our completion date of the 30th of July 2021.

The final snagging and painting and decorating is taking place, The new amazing lift has now been fully installed…

We really can’t wait to be able to give the keys to our wonderful clients so they can start to enjoy there new future in this newly renovated and adapted house.

Here’s some great updates and photos of a large project were are soon to complete!

Absolutely fantastic project this has been to work on and to have been given the opportunity to adapt this home for disabled living And to modernise it to a comfortable style with all the family being able to enjoy every area of this property.

I can’t wait for our clients to be able to move in and to start enjoying this wonderful home.

So another new Job completed within 3 days!!

We were called out to help our wonderful client Rob who's sceptic tank had come to the end of its life and actually was damaged so much so that the cominated waste was leaking into the grounds and surrounding garden.... so we took care of that and also managed to get the new P6 Treatment Plant ordered in time prior to the new price increase of 10% set by our lovely government and we installed it along with new electrics

New resurfaced parking area has been completed along with new drainage and access area was improved.

Additional parking space was also created to add value to the house as the house is about to be marketed for sale.

If you need a new sceptic tank installed or want some additional parking created or any groundworks then please give us a call as we are still taking on projects given our increased size and expansion plans over the last 12 months.

So here is a before and after of a compact but charming cottage that we are currently fully renovating and getting ready for its first holiday paying guest. Details of this holiday let will become available soon with a link so anyone interested in booking a holiday in the cottage can follow the link.

I feel a bit like George Clarks small amazing spaces as we were employed to create a bespoke carpentry breakfast island along with a more modern country look kitchen.

We have taken care of all the plumbing, new electrics upgrade and The new flooring is being laid tomorrow.

Here are some updates of works we’re doing!

We are now heavily involved in working alongside some of the fantastic and well-known ground works companies to Combine our skills and project management and delivery of any service for the client/s so they dont have to go and hunt these individual elements and contractors themselves, As we have already done the hard work and Will always guarantee We bring on site the best quality skills and local tradesmen to provide only the best quality on all our work.

Really enjoying upgrading and renovating a gorgeous cider barn holiday let, which is a compact 1 bed cosy and delightful cottage... With this Going so well the client then asked us to completely knocked down and remodel the driveway to increase the parking and turning facilities which was a massive amount of work but we managed to confirm That we could start within a week of quoting.... And we were instructed to proceed and how this has now transform the property and Our clients are extremely pleased with the transformation and how simply this will now help transform their lives in enjoying there new move to Wonderful Devon.

COVID - 19 UPDATE:

We really hope everyone is feeling more positive and confident about the future ahead!, We as a company are definitely feeling and experiencing the uplift and momentum of new enquiries coming through and we are so pleased with some of the exciting plans we’re working on.

Already this month has seen us experience a 47% increase in business activity.... and we say a huge thank you to our wondeful community for all the help and support they have given us through the last year of this horrid pandemic which may I say I think Tavistock has done well as a healthy town to work alongside COVID - 19 guidelines and keeping it safe!! 😀

We too haven’t been so social media driven the last few months but this is soon to change as it’s time to share the amazing things we get to design and create!!...
