It’s been a bit of an up and down few weeks here at AJ Plumbing & Heating!

Work-wise, it’s been nice and busy, with plenty of jobs keeping me on my toes and the diary ticking over. 🔥🔧 My diary has a few gaps over the next couple of weeks so it’s a great time to get work booked in. Let’s get the job done quickly and efficiently. 👍

It hasn’t all been plain sailing though… the van decided to throw a spanner in the works and needed a new clutch! 🚐💸 Not exactly an expense I was hoping for!

On top of that, we’ve managed to squeeze in a couple of weekends away and, of course, trying to juggle work around the summer holidays and keeping the kids entertained! 😅

So, it’s been a busy few weeks both on and off the tools, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thanks again to all my customers, old and new, for your continued support. It really does mean a lot. 👌

Another week done and dusted! 👨‍🔧🔥

It’s been another busy week here at AJ Plumbing & Heating, with a great mix of work completed, including:

✅ 2 boiler installations
✅ 1 new basin installation
✅ Landlord Gas Safety Checks
✅ A kitchen first fix
✅ A new hob installation

No two days are ever the same, and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about the job.

This week also saw my newly sign-written van hit the road! 🚐 Keep an eye out for it if you’re out and about—it’s great to finally have the business looking the part while travelling between jobs.

🔥Two Boiler Replacements Completed This Week 🔥

This week saw the installation of two brand-new boilers, both replacing older units that had reached the end of their working life.

In both cases, the existing boilers had developed multiple faults, including leaks and ongoing reliability issues. The customers had been faced with repeated repair bills, and after assessing the condition of the appliances, it was clear that continuing to repair them was no longer the most cost-effective option.

Another transformation completed 🔥🔧

Out with the old rusty solid fuel AGA and cylinder and in with a brand new electric combi boiler, along with a couple of new radiators to freshen the system up 👌

The whole heating system was fully flushed through to make sure everything is running clean and efficiently, and the boiler has been range rated to run at just 6KW — helping keep the customer's electric bills as low as possible while still providing reliable heating and hot water. 🏡⚡️

A much cleaner, more efficient setup all round.

I just completed this system conversion, removing the original boiler from 1987!

I fitted a Glowworm energy 35c as it had to be cupboard fit, ready for a new kitchen. As I’m a Club Energy registered installer, I’m able to offer a 10 year guarantee, giving our customers peace of mind for the future. System fully mains flushed using sentinel chemicals and a EPH cp4 thermostat to comply with boiler plus regulations. To top it all off, we also replaced 5 old radiators and valves for new.

One happy customer all ready for the winter who now has hot water on demand.
