Pinkery Roof — Complete!

From a roof that had definitely seen better days, to this! 👏

After carefully working to the lines and character of the existing building, the new roof is now complete.
With not a single straight line or piece of timber the same length, this one certainly kept us on our toes!

But the finished result speaks for itself.

A challenging project, but one we’re really pleased to have brought back to life.

Swipe through to see the transformation from where we started to where we’ve finished!

Pinkery Roof — Before & Progress!

This roof had definitely seen better days… 😳

Built to the lines of the building rather than a straight line in sight, with hardly a piece of timber cut to the same length — it was certainly a challenge!

We’ve stripped it back, put in the hard graft and started bringing this roof back to life, while keeping the character and lines of the original building.

Here’s a look at where we started and how things are progressing…

Stay tuned later this week to see the finished Pinkery roof. 🔨🏠

🚧 New Project | Bindon House Hotel, Langford Budville

We’re pleased to be getting started on the refurbishment of the fire-damaged wing at the historic Bindon House Hotel.

This one is a full transformation — starting with a complete strip-out, followed by a new roof, electrics and plumbing, before bringing the space back together and giving it a fresh lease of life. 🔨🏗️
It’s certainly a bit of a mess at the moment, but that’s where we come in! 👷‍♂️

Keep an eye on the page as we take you through the progress from start to finish.

🎓 Back to school throwback!

As students head back for another year, we’re looking back at a project we completed at King’s College in 2023.

From modernised bathrooms and kitchens to welcoming common room spaces, our team delivered a refurbishment designed to create practical, comfortable spaces for students to live, learn and relax.

A great project to look back on — and a reminder of the work that goes into creating spaces that are ready for the next generation 👷‍♂️🔨

The finishing touches at Barn Owl Farm bring the whole space together — with warm brass fittings adding a timeless, considered feel to this beautifully crafted bathroom.

From the statement shower to the understated tapware, every detail has been carefully selected to complement the character of the space.

A little bit of brass goes a long way 🤎

Powering our Allerford office with solar energy!
At Wrencon, we’re always looking for practical ways to work more efficiently and sustainably.

Our Allerford office in Taunton benefits from solar panels, helping to generate clean, renewable energy to power our day-to-day operations.

By making use of solar energy, we can reduce our reliance on traditional electricity, lower our energy costs and reduce our environmental impact — making it a smart investment for both today and the future. 🌱⚡

🏏 Throwback to this project for Somerset County Cricket Club!

A look back at the training cricket nets completed by the Wrencon team, creating a dedicated indoor space for players to train, practise and develop their game all year round.

It’s always great seeing a finished space being put to good use — especially when it supports sport here in Somerset. 👏

A closer look at the downstairs bathrooms at Barn Owl Farm 🏡

Clean, modern finishes throughout, with warm neutral tiling, sleek wall-hung fittings, spacious walk-in showers and beautifully illuminated mirrors. We especially love the herringbone tiling bringing a little extra character to the space.

Another part of this completed project where the smaller details make all the difference. 🔨✨
