With a beautiful SG2 seeded turf for a wonderful green lawn.

One from last week.

This customer is building an extension to his property. However before doing so this pitch fibre pipe had to be exposed ready for a replacement by Wessex Water.

You cannot build directly over or within 3m from a pitch fibre pipe without a formal agreement from your local water authority. Pitch fibre was typically made of wood cellulose and coal tar. Over time, it deforms and blisters and loses its structural integrity leading to leaks or even a collapse of the pipe.

A little job from last week.

The patio had lost its character and become dirty and full of grime. ⛔️

A pressure wash service and a repoint with a ready-to-use, self-setting paving jointing compound designed for easy, fast, and weather-resistant pointing on patios, paths, and driveways. It requires no mixing, can be applied in the rain, and cures as hard as mortar without shrinking or cracking. ✅

A Cordyline australis - also known as a ‘cabbage tree’ which is commonly mistaken for a palm tree had outstayed its welcome, so had to go✅

And a wobbly fence required the installation of a 4x4 post to keep the fence sturdy and prevent any future potential damage✅

What a difference! 👇

This garden path used to be muddy, slippery and difficult to walk on, especially during wet weather. Not ideal at all.

We removed the old surface and installed a brand new Indian sandstone pathway, finished off with Cotswold decorative stone to keep the area neat, well-drained and low maintenance.
Now the space is safer, cleaner and looks fantastic – a huge improvement for the homeowner! 🌿
