Can't stay quiet about this - such a stunning venue and of course we KNOW that the accomodation is absolutely stunning, because we're responsible!

There will be events and other openings happening at the Blue Ball, but please share this to your socials far and wide!

We're really pleased with how our latest project has turned out - Our full and detailed renovation of the luxury accomodation at The Blue Ball Quantocks and of course it's the team that makes all the difference...

As always, it's been such a pleasure to work with DC Plumbing and Heating, Dan Bedford Electrical and GMC Decorating, with the fantastic The final finish co providing a flawless clean ready for handover.

We'll be posting some pictures as soon as we've got them done with some great before & after shots..

We're currently on another high detail renovation for a stunning house not too far from the The Blue Ball Quantocks, and will be much better at posting updates!

If you have a renovation, extension or kitchen/bathroom that needs our magic, then message us or call/whatsapp us on 01823 778173 to book in a visit to discuss..

Another beautiful bathroom finished off by The Final Finish Cleaning Co. ✨

Installed by DC Plumbing and Heating and AK Construction— we came in for the final clean and got it ready for handover 👌🏼

Good meeting and really exciting to see the chapter is finding it's feet.

Looking forward to our certificates - this is what the group is about, bringing business to our members, and it's great to see it starting to work now!

Absolutely fantastic to be thanked for passing over £35k (excluding vat) worth of business this month - it racks up quickly!

We are looking for visitors in so many professions - if you are involved in an estate agency, architects, decorating or groundworks company please come and visit and see if you can benefit from the business that we bring to the group..

This is a huge problem for individual tradesmen and building companies alike. Tool theft is on the rise and we're so glad to see initiatives like this that are taking back stolen tools and giving people back their livelihoods. If you buy second hand tools at Car Boot Sales or on Facebook Marketplace or eBay, make sure you know who you're buying from and that the tools are genuinely theirs.

Tradesman: mark your tools, engrave them or at the very least mark them with a sharpie in places its hard to remove, or better still use Smart Water

🚫 We Don’t Buy Fake Reviews – We Earn Real Ones 🚫

We’ve recently been approached by individuals offering to sell fake 5-star reviews across platforms like Google, Facebook, Checkatrade, Yell, and others.

Let’s be crystal clear:
AK Construction will never engage in that kind of nonsense.

As a small (but growing!) business, we need all the positive reviews we can get, but we don't pressure our customers for them, so we don't always get reviews after jobs - even when our customer is delighted with the work.

Our reputation isn’t for sale — it’s been earned the hard way:
Through long hours on site, high standards of craftsmanship, honest communication, and going the extra mile for our clients.

From the moment you invite us in to discuss your next project, we're working hard to make sure we understand what you need and thinking of ways to WOW you.

We’re proud of every genuine review we’ve received because it reflects real work for real people, not keyboard cowboys with fake accounts and shady tactics.

To our customers:
Thank you for trusting us. Your honest feedback helps us grow and improve — and we’ll always keep it that way.
Please drop us a review here on Facebook (we haven't asked for any here yet!) or on our Google Profile.

To anyone else tempted by shortcuts:
Integrity is worth far more than five stars.
