We are Hiring........

Joinery & Furniture sprayer/finisher

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Joinery Sprayer/Finisher to join our small team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to develop their skills in a well-established joinery workshop.

The Role

The successful candidate will prepare and finish high-end joinery and furniture pieces, maintaining exceptional quality and presentation throughout the process.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience preparing items for spraying
• Joinery spraying experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team

Experience with specialist finishes would be advantageous; however, training will be provided across our extensive range of bespoke finishing techniques.

We're extremely proud to showcase our work at the CamLIFE development in Cambridge, where we worked closely with Taunton Fabrications Ltd to deliver three striking timber-clad feature stairs. The staircases are complemented by The Light Lab Ltd's bespoke Glowrail LED handrail system, creating a seamless blend of timber, lighting, and architectural design.

It's a great example of how early collaboration, detailed design coordination, and off-site preparation can come together to deliver outstanding results on site.

Last year, we were privilaged to work closely with Monkton Building and Developments and their client to design, craft, and install a range of custom-made sash windows and elegant double doors for a beautiful period property in Taunton.

Each piece was tailored to complement the home’s character and original architectural details, combining traditional design with the precision and performance of modern joinery techniques. From initial design through to installation, our team took great care to ensure every element reflected the quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that defines our work.

We’re proud to play a small part in preserving the beauty of properties like this - and in doing so - helping our clients bring their vision to life.

Collaboration sits at the heart of some of our best work...

It's been a privilege to work with Taunton Fabrications Ltd to support the manufacture and installation of these incredible feature stairs at Capital Park for Wates Group .

Working closely with their design and manufacturing team, we crafted over 840 individual birch plywood slats, milled to conceal the steel framework, then pre-finished and installed on site alongside matching fascia panels. Early collaboration and a shared focus on quality ensured that the modelling, sampling, and installation ran smoothly - delivering a result that we're all incredibly proud of.

Ready for a glorious summer of cricket!🏏

We're extremely proud to have designed, manufactured and installed this bespoke oak-framed scoreboard for Wombat Cricket Club in Somerset.

We'd also like to say a very big thank-you to Taunton Fabrications Ltd for supplying the brackets, Philip Derben for structural calculations, and Phillip Hull for excavating the base. A marvellous team effort to support the brilliant work being done by Wombat C.C.
