Please like and follow for all your content. Creative business needs. Beth Harrold has been the social media side of TAMWORTH WINDOW AND DOORS. For a while now! I must say nobody better for the job.
At 15 years old, I sat in a hospital being told that my ovaries had stopped working. I didn't know it then, but that conversation would shape almost every part of my life.
It led me to women's health advocacy. It led me to volunteering. It led me to spending years helping charities, organisations and communities raise awareness around subjects that many people still struggle to talk about.
And strangely enough... It led me to creative design.
Because somewhere along the way, I realised something. The most important message in the world means absolutely nothing if nobody stops to read it.
I was diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency at 15. A condition that affects roughly 4 in 100 women, and yet so many people have never heard of it. That invisibility is part of what drives everything I do.
Over the last 7 years I've designed social media content, brochures, informative booklets, presentations, events, display signs and reports, work that has been presented in parliament and been shared worldwide. I've designed and launched a worldwide awareness campaign and worked with some incredible organisations along the way, including Paths to Parenthub, Fertility Matters at Work and The Fertility Podcast.
And today I've finally launched my own little corner of the internet to reflect all of it. Not just as a portfolio, but as a reflection of everything that got me here.
The diagnosis. The volunteering. The advocacy. The people who trusted me with their stories and their organisations.
A place of colour and advocacy, creating work that helps people feel seen.
So, here's to the next chapter. And to always designing something 💛
