CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING IN YOUR PET?

Research by Gas Safe Register and the RSPCA highlights confusion among UK pet owners regarding the symptoms of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning in pets, a condition that can be particularly dangerous due to pets' smaller size and lower lung capacity. Symptoms include
• drowsiness,
• vomiting
• instability
• reddened gums,
• unusual behaviour changes
Owners are urged to monitor their pets closely and seek veterinary assistance if symptoms arise.

Customer had a dripping tank valve so transferred all the oil out into a temporary storage, replaced the valve and remade oil line using flared fittings. If you have any problem with your oil tank then please don't hesitate to get in touch and we can sort it out.

"Plant room" installed in a new build. Oil system boiler, unvented hot water cylinder with secondary circulation, and three heating zones. Give Pamber Plumbers a call if you have a similar requirement or need a repair on a multi zone heating system

To improve the efficiency and reduce oil consumption of this old boiler that had "gravity circulation" to the hot water cylinder, the system was replumbed to "fully pumped" with a system filter and motorised valve. With the addition of a thermostat fitted to the cylinder, the customer now has independent control of heating and hot water, and the boiler will only "fire" if the house or hot water are cold.

LPG "pig tails" should be replaced every 5 years and the regulator over 10. If you are on bottled gas then look at the date printed on the hoses, and if they more than 5 years old give Pamber Plumbers a call on 01256 889977, and we will be happy to supply and fit new.

External oil boiler fitted to replace a dangerous internal boiler that was leaking fumes and water. Customer will save in excess of 30% on their fuel consumption, due to the new condensing boiler and updated controls 🙂

In a large house where the system comprised of two oil boilers, low loss header, three sperate underfloor heating manifolds, nest thermostats and a cascade controller. A fault on how the controls where wired in ment the boilers where firing 24x7 degrading the plastic condensate drain pipes and one underfloor heating zone getting so hot it cracked the grouting of the floor tiles. Traced wiring faults and now boilers only running when there is a heating demand placed on them. As seen the boilers are now "pluming" nicely as the return temp is around 45deg.

The "pig tails" on your LPG regulator should be changed every five years. If left too long then they will degraded and split. LPG is heavier than air and will sit in unseen "puddles" so an escape of calor gas is far more dangerous than you might think. Pamber Plumbers are LPG certified so if you need new pig tails or are concerned about anything gas related please don't hesitate to contact us

Took out the original back boiler, cold water tanks and hot water cylinder, in a mobile home. Refitted a combi boiler improving efficiency significantly, gaining more storage space and the owner now a a decent flow the hot water. Pamber Plumbers are LPG certified so if you run your heating on Calor Gas please get in touch

Grant "boiler house" oil fired boiler installed with a vertical balanced flue. With a low Nox burner and a condensing heat exchanger this is both good for the environment and the customers heating bill
