🌳 Recent Tree Maintenance Works 🌳

A variety of tree maintenance works have recently been completed by our arborists across a number of sites.

One London plane tree received pruning to provide clearance from surrounding buildings. We recently revisited the tree to check its progress and were pleased to see healthy regrowth. 🌿

Elsewhere, the team carried out a crown lift, raising one side to approximately 5 metres above ground level to improve clearance for road users while maintaining the tree’s natural form. 🚗🌳

🌳 Large Oak Removal – Chandlers Ford 🌳

A challenging removal of a large, declining oak positioned directly over a residential property in Chandlers Ford.

Due to the condition of the tree, climbing was not considered a safe option, so the works were carried out using a MEWP alongside controlled rigging techniques. Large timber sections were carefully dismantled and lowered before being removed from site using our grab lorry.

The team safely completed the removal and left the site fully cleared and tidy. 👏

🌳 Beech Tree Retained for Wildlife Habitat 🌳

Following inspection, this beech was found to have a significant longitudinal split through the main stem. Due to the associated risk, the tree could no longer be safely retained in its original form.

Rather than complete removal, it was carefully reduced to a standing monolith, preserving valuable habitat for wildlife. 🦉🦇🐞🐛🦟🕷️

Using a CMC S23 tracked MEWP supplied by Affordable Access, the works were completed safely and efficiently, balancing public safety with long-term ecological benefits. 🌿

🌳 Great to see new trees being established in Petersfield town centre, helping to enhance the urban landscape.

We’re proud that our team played a part in delivering these planting works on behalf of East Hampshire District Council, ensuring the right trees are planted in the right locations to provide long-term environmental and community benefits for future generations. 🌱

🌳🌳 Two Sites | Two Teams | Basingstoke Contract 🌳🌳

Recent jobs completed across our Basingstoke contract, with two teams working simultaneously to safely manage two oak trees.

One oak had unfortunately reached the end of its life and was removed due to its declining condition and the increasing risk it posed to the surrounding area.

The second oak was reduced to a standing monolith, retaining valuable habitat for wildlife while ensuring the tree remains safe for the public. 🦉🐝🌿

All works were completed safely and efficiently. 💪🏻🌳

A recent residential job completed by the team involving a range of tree and garden maintenance works across the property 🌳🏡

Works included tree pruning, a 2m reduction and reshaping, along with clearance of a row of lavender to help tidy and open up the garden space. 💪🏻🌿

The team also carried out stump grinding, leaving the area ready for the customer’s next phase of landscaping. 👌🏻

Recent beech tree removal completed ahead of upcoming ground works on site 🌳

The team carried out the dismantle and full stump removal to help prepare the area for the next phase of the project. Using the Avant loader to efficiently move timber from site alongside the stump grinder made light work of the clearance process. 💪🏻

A great example of all departments working together to keep projects moving safely and efficiently from start to finish. 👌🏻
