The Story of HEXIS
Great design rarely happens by accident.
HEXIS is the result of almost two decades of engineering innovation, premium craftsmanship and a shared belief that temporary event structures should be every bit as inspiring as the brands they represent.
Originally conceived in 2007 under the C6(n) brand, the structure was created by Christopher Pitchford and Charles Hall, whose backgrounds and passion for high-performance yacht racing, architecture and sustainable design inspired a completely different approach to temporary event architecture.
Rather than producing another aluminium-framed event structure, the team set out to engineer a premium modular system that combined exceptional strength with refined aesthetics and complete reusability.
As development progressed, Michael Hall and Tori Hall joined the project, bringing additional engineering and event industry expertise. Drawing heavily on techniques used in luxury yacht construction, the team specified carbon fibre, marine-grade stainless steel and other high-performance materials more commonly associated with elite motorsport and superyachts than the events industry.
The result was a revolutionary structural system that reduced installation complexity whilst delivering outstanding structural performance, durability and visual impact.
Over £2.5 million has since been invested in the design, engineering, tooling, testing and structural validation of the system. Every structure is supported by comprehensive independent structural calculations, engineering analysis and extensive health and safety documentation, giving organisers, agencies and brand owners complete confidence.
Following its launch, the structure quickly attracted the attention of some of the world’s most recognised brands, including Google, Pepsi and Nivea. It became synonymous with premium experiential marketing, hospitality and brand activation throughout Europe and the United States, with the engineering platform also forming the basis of the iconic triple-deck Circular Tower.
Following the closure of C6(n) in 2019, the structures were carefully preserved by Unique Event Structures Ltd under the leadership of Tori Hall, ensuring this remarkable engineering achievement remained available for future generations.
That future began in January 2026.
Following a meeting between Peter Bowen, Founder and CEO of Access Displays Ltd, and Tori Hall, the two companies formed a strategic partnership built around a shared vision—to reintroduce one of the industry’s most innovative event structures to a new generation of clients.
Today, Unique Event Structures is responsible for the ongoing development, installation, logistics, structural compliance and operational delivery of the system, whilst Access Displays has become the exclusive sales and marketing partner, drawing upon more than 36 years of international exhibition and event experience.
Together they have launched a new brand:
HEXIS
HEXIS represents a new generation of elevated event architecture—premium, modular environments that help ambitious brands create unforgettable experiences.
The current collection includes:
• HEXIS Pavilion – A premium single-level hospitality and activation space.
• HEXIS Sky Lounge – A striking double-storey structure offering elevated hospitality and exceptional brand visibility.
• HEXIS Sky Lounge Plus – An enhanced configuration offering additional premium features, functionality and bespoke options.
HEXIS isn’t simply another temporary structure.
It is engineered architecture designed to elevate brands, transform event spaces and create experiences that people remember long after the event has ended.
