🥾 WELLY SLAP! 🥾

This is what can happen when wet concrete gets onto your skin around the tops of your wellies! 😬

Concrete burns are no joke. Wet cement is highly alkaline and can cause serious chemical burns, sometimes without you realising straight away.

⚠️ PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE!

The number of times we turn up to a pour and see people wearing trainers or sliders is unbelievable! 😳

✅ Wear suitable waterproof, protective wellies.
✅ Wear alkali-resistant gloves.
✅ Protect your eyes with safety glasses.
✅ Keep wet concrete off your skin.
✅ If concrete gets onto your skin, wash it off immediately with plenty of clean water. Don't wait for it to start burning!

Look after yourself on site. It's not worth risking a serious injury just to save a few minutes.

🥾 A little welly slap is better than a concrete burn!
